Having worked for 20 years in the creative departments of global advertising, where until recently, only 3% of the creative directors were female, I think it’s fair to say that professionally speaking, I’ve lived in a man’s world. Rather than let that jade me, I let it inspire me.
As the women’s movement continues to grow and shift our culture, new ways of operating need to take root in the professional world. Ways that allow both men and women to step into a more collaborative, cohesive dynamic together. Ultimately, we are all on the same team. Team humanity. I’m rewriting the team’s playbook and moving the needle forward.
